Over forty years ago, the ladies of the First Church formed the Friendly Circle. It was to be for fellowship of Christians as well as mission work. Friendly Circle sponsors the Thrift Shop in Coventry.
The Friendly Circle meets every third Tuesday at 12:00 PM from September to June. The second Wednesday of each month, year round, Friendly Circle holds a "Koffee Klatch" from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The Friendly Circle is available for receptions, volunteer at the church fair, and sponsor an annual Bloodmobile. All earnings of the Friendly Circle are donated to missions both within and outside the church.
