Music is an integral part of worship First Church. We have an active Senior Choir, Youth Choir, as well as a Cherub Choir. All choirs present wonderful musical programs throughout the year, and special programs for church events. The Choir Season runs from September through May.
The position of Choir Director and
Organist has been assumed by Fred North, II.
Fred has done a marvelous job selecting music, conducting and
accompanying the choirs.
Although we are incredibly blessed with the talent and devotion of the present membership, we are always looking for a few good voices. The more, the merrier!! As always, the desire to sing is the only thing you need to bring. The rehearsals are fun, and the music is great.
Senior Choir rehearses at 7 PM each Wednesday, and they sing at the main service each week except on the 4th Sunday of the month.
Rehearsals for the Youth Choir are every Wednesday at 6 PM, and they sing the 4th Sunday each month at the main service.
Cherub Choir rehearses during Sunday School, and they sing the 4th Sunday each month at the 9 AM service.
